Lara & Ben // Palm Springs, CA

Walking into the lobby at The Parker Palm Springs was like walking back in time to the ’60s. Tall bright orange front doors, suits of armor, large hanging wickers chairs, a giant vintage “drugs” sign. All of this made for a unique and funky experience that was refreshingly different than the other high-end hotels at which we typically shoot. Needless to say, the more the we got to know the bride and groom, the more this hotel choice made sense. We absolutely loved their eclectic/vintage style which surfaced in everything from the reception decor to Lara’s amazing wedding dress.

Also, being that Ben himself is a noted DJ in LA, he lined up an all-star cast of DJ’s to perform at the reception, including himself (Deru), Edit, Boreta, Kraddy, and Free the Robots. Yeah, we were pretty awestruck too :)

Congratulations Lara & Ben!!

Jodie & John // La Jolla, CA (SDE)

From the Greek Orthodox ceremony to the custom-tented reception at the La Jolla Country Club, this was truly a wedding to remember. Both Jodie and John Spanos were such fun people to be around, not to mention the all-star vendor team including Anseth Richards and Aaron Feldman! One of our favorite details had to be the liquid nitrogen ice cream and rootbeer float bar though. If only every wedding had ones of these!! We could go on forever about the details but it’s probably just better that you watch the film :) Enjoy!

Congratulations Jodie & Jodie!

Mary & Pablo // Pomona, CA

Golf is always a good start to any day, but even more so if it’s your wedding day. While we didn’t get to play, we still got to tag along with Pablo on his cart and live vicariously through the camera. Meanwhile, back at the hotel, Mary and her girls were hard at work to look their best for the ceremony. After a beautiful Catholic ceremony, the whole party moved on to the Rancho Santa Ana Botanical Garden for an intimate reception under the stars.  All in all, an amazing day and we wish Mary and Pablo the best!

Kristina & Huy // San Diego, CA

We had the privilege recently of filming the wedding of Kristina & Huy here in our own backyard of San Diego. We kicked off the day with a fun biking session with Huy and his guys while the girls did hair and make-up. After that we all cruised over to St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Rancho Bernardo for  a beautiful ceremony.  With the bride and groom officially wed, it was then time to celebrate down in Pt. Loma at the Admiral Kidd Club overlooking the bay. As you’ll see in the film, Kristina & Huy are brimming with personality and it all came together for one awesome party.

Congratulations Kristina & Huy!

Ekta & Nirav SDE // Philadelphia, PA

Today marks the end of an epic 5-day wedding celebration in Philadelphia, PA. We’re actually at the airport right now getting ready to make our way back to San Diego. Since we have a bit of a layover, we thought we’d go ahead and post the same-day edit (SDE) that we premiered last night at the reception. It covers 4 of the 5 days of events, including the bride and groom’s vidhi, garba/rass, ceremony and reception. We hope you enjoy!

Congratulations Ekta & Nirav!

NOTE: The Philadelphia Inquirer featured this wedding on the front page of their newspaper. It was fun to wake up in the morning, step outside our hotel room door and see the wedding we’re in the middle of filming on our doorstep. You can see their article here.
