Maretha & Andy // Laguna Niguel, CA

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of filming the wedding of Maretha & Andy at the St. Regis in Laguna Niguel. Upon arrival that morning, we dropped off one of our cameramen with a special camera-equipped surfboard. He rode with the groomsmen down to the St. Regis’ private beach area and was able to get some fantastic footage on Andy out on the water. Meanwhile, the rest of us were back at the hotel with Maretha, her bridesmaids, and her dog, Channel. At one point, a gift was delivered for Maretha from Andy which turned out to be a brand new, white iPhone 4 (with a special video message on it…nicely done, Andy). This gift was especially ironic considering Andy ruined his own iPhone while surfing that morning!

The rest of day was a whirlwind as we progressed from the ceremony on the Pacific Lawn to the all-white reception in the main ballroom. We’re not kidding when we say “all-white.” Maretha had the existing carpet entirely covered in white carpet and had all the wall draped white. The majority of the linens and decor were white as well with some subtle accent colors here and there. Felt like a winter wonderland almost :)

All in all, we had an absolute blast shooting this wedding and were very happy with how the SDE turned out! Congrats Maretha & Andy!

Tamara & Raul // Seattle, WA

The groom, Raul, goes way back with the FortyOneTwenty team. In fact, Raul was a production assistant on our films before we were even called FortyOneTwenty. So, when we flew up to Seattle to see him marry Tamara, it was more than just seeing a friend get married. It was seeing a brother (and one of the best men we know) finally find the woman of his dreams. Tamara, you’re a lucky woman.  Raul, you couldn’t have picked better!

We were so honored to be a part of this wedding.

Congratulations Tamara and Raul!

Cayla & Ben // Andover, NJ

Walking down the pathway of the Cross Keys Inn and then into the game-room/cabin really set the tone for this rustic yet whimsical venue.  We loved all the details, from the scrabble table settings and retro striped paper straws to the photo booth props and Cayla’s gold sparkle flats. The garden ceremony, tented reception and sparkler exit all came together so perfectly to create one amazing day!

Congratulations Cayla and Ben!
